The provision and quality of social care is so important to us all, we have some great providers locally including Dignity Home Care - Medway, which was founded by Natalie whose passion for providing high quality care was what drove her to set up her company. Within our manifesto this week, we are committed to supporting high-quality care building on the £8.6 billion already invested. We will give local authorities more certainty over funding settlements and will take forward the reforms in our ‘People at the Heart of Care’ White Paper. We will also implement our planned reforms to cap social care costs from October 2025. Locally, there are issues with how the council commission social care, so I will be working with organisations like Dignity Home Care to make sure everyone has access to good local providers #loverochesterandstrood #Conservatives
