Rochester and Strood MP Kelly Tolhurst has welcomed the Government’s commitment to share over £200 million for repairing roads and potholes with Councils across England – enough to resurface an extra 1,000 miles of road.
A couple of months ago, I was delighted to get a tour of the local Rochester depot for Hancock’s Cash and Carry and meet its staff, as well as the Chief Executive of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD), James Bielby.
Over the past few years, it has been wonderful to see a huge rise in female enterprise, particularly in Medway where I was pleased to recently attend a roundtable for Make It Your Business alongside fellow female business owners.
The MP for Rochester and Strood, Kelly Tolhurst, is delighted to learn that Medway Council is to be awarded an additional £486, 117 from the Government’s Rough Sleeping Initiative in the new 2019/20 financial year.
Rochester and Strood MP Kelly Tolhurst has successfully secured new road signage to combat the volume of heavy vehicles travelling through Borstal village, which has caused regular chaos since the opening of the new Peter’s Village bridge.
