After many days of misery for residents affected by these unacceptable traffic disruption on Four Elms Hill and in Cuxton I am calling on the Labour cabinet member responsible for highways to take action for residents and sort this mess out - I would also recommend residents sharing their views directly with the portfolio holder simon.curry@medway.gov.uk
Thanks to everyone who has been in touch recently to raise this problem which has been caused by Medway Council’s works that have overrun, gridlocking the road network and causing severe delays for residents. I have spoken with the ward Councillors George Crozer, Michael Pearce and Ron Sands who have been in constant contact with the engineers to find a solution, I have also written to the council’s CEO Richard Hicks asking for a quick solution as the current situation is not acceptable. Hoo and Chattenden Parish Councils are also pushing the council.
