On the morning of Friday 22nd March 2019, Kelly Tolhurst MP formally visited Google’s Digital Garage bus in her capacity as Minister for Small Business.

The initiative, led by Google, was launched from Rochester High Street on Friday and is aimed at targeting independent high street shops to improve their online presence.

Free advice and coaching was offered to all members of the public and local business owners on how to improve their social media strategy and digital marketing plan.

Minister Kelly Tolhurst said:

“As the Minister responsible for Small Business, I am delighted to attend the launch of Google’s new initiative to help our local high street stores become more internet savvy.

“I am also pleased that Google has decided to launch this new project from my constituency of Rochester and Strood.

“I hope that our independent shops will find this a great opportunity to see how they can reach out to even more customers and grow their business.”

Labour Government fail to intervene to Save Chatham Docks

Tuesday, 29 October, 2024
